David graduated from Milton High School in 1968 and, shortly after, entered the Army. Within one year, he reached the rank of Sergeant E5, then while in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Korea, was trusted with a Sergeant E7 position. He deeply values his service to our country.
We met on a ballroom dance floor where he swept me off my feet! We were married 31 years ago. Wherever he saw a need, David pursued public service by volunteering his time and talents to schools, churches, nonprofits, and Homeowner’s Associations. He thinks creatively and has often come up with innovations and money-saving solutions for these organizations.
Beginning with a dream, David opened an appliance store shortly after we married, where we worked together for many years. The business grew to 1.2 million dollars in annual sales.
